All went well, however, I do need to use crutches and/or a wheelchair for at least 6 weeks. The hospital gave me crutches and we had a walker in the shed. It is a pain using them! Bedroom and bathroom are upstairs along with a TV. Kitchen is downstairs. I think I was doing the balancing act incorrectly. Have to remember to look down, not at my feet, and to put the weak leg forward balancing on the crutch. Guess practice will do it. I do have pain, (where is my half ukranian blood when I need it๐Ÿ˜ž๐Ÿ˜ž) but according to the instructions that is to be expected with arthroscopic surgery. Also to ice several times the first 24 hours and keep elevated and do bending exercises. See the dr. June 5 and I plan to go back to work on June 22. Hopefully that will still hold true, work will make accommodates for me. All this due to a torn meniscus and having spots of arthritis that he drilled holes in the knee to. the drโ€™s official findings: tear medial meniscus and djd medial tibial plateau. Whew! The bilateral mastectomy was a piece of cake as compared to this, come on half ukranian blood start working๐Ÿ˜„๐Ÿ˜„.
