Sunshine!! in At the foot of the hill

Yea! It’s cool this morning, but we have blue sky…a little hazy, but much better than those thick, heavy snow clouds that have been hanging over our heads the last few days. Seems our weather is going to get back to our normal this week. Sunny mornings and afternoon scattered showers.

Had a nice Mothers Day. Went to Mike’s for dinner. Both boys were home and were pleasant and sociable. Those guys are so big! Funny because their dad and both grandpa’s are kind of little guys…

I have not been feeling too well for awhile. Tired, depressed, achy. Guess it goes with the lack of sunshine. If that’s it, I should get better the next couple of days.

Did I mention that I have decided to join an art group here at the compound. I’ve gone to a few of their meetings… very informal and everybody just does their own thing. Had been messing with water colors for awhile and decided that I’d like to try acrylics last week. I think I might like that medium better. When I painted 40 or so years ago it was all oils, but those are so messy to drag around, and I have long since got rid of all the supplies for oils. Acrylics and water color are cheaper. Don’t want to invest too much until I decide for sure I’m going to stick with it.

I’m off to ladies bridge and lunch now. Hope the sun is shining where you are…unless you’re in California. If you are, I hope you get some more rain.
