I screwed up my old computer by opening up a Microsoft Account. When I turned it off it asked me for my Microsoft Account password. I typed it in and it wouldn’t accept it. I tried several times to log into my computer and I kept getting message that said You can’t log into this computer at this time. It gave me a web address to go to fix the problem. I had a very frustrating time but after trying for several hours I was able to log into my computer.
I went to the suggested Microsoft web address. I tried to find a solution to the problem. It suggested that I reset the password so I changed my password. For a for a while that worked and I I thought I solved the problem. I was wrong. I shut the computer down yesterday and had the same problem. Oh know not this shit again I said to myself. I ended up calling Rent A Center and asked them to send down a new computer.
Only problem with this new computer is that I can’t access my eBooks. I went to the B&N website last night They do have a Nook for Windows 8. I tried downloading that but it switched me over to Microsoft. I had the same problem with the password and I didn’t want to open a new account and screw up this computer. I have no other way to get to my books.
I really feel sick. I invested a lot of money in those books. I had over 138 eBooks from B&N. They are gone. It isn’t just the money. I really enjoyed reading those books. I had a lot of emotional/psychological attachment to those books. Reading helps keep my mind off crap It is like escaping into another world and now that world is gone. I feel a great loss as if I had lost a wonderful friend
B&N offers an ereader for sale called Nook with Glow light. It is for $99. I am seriously thinking about buying it. next month. I have a couple reservations. I don’t have access to Wi-Fi. I am wondering if I could set it up and register it without Wi-Fi. I was able to do it before I had two Nooks and they both stopped working on me. If I buy another Nook would this one stop working on me? Besides that investing in another Nook would put me in a serious financial bind. I don’t think I could afford it but part of me says damn it I’m going a head full speed God help me
