will you see me old and grey
way too young you do not say
is my shell a raging curse
visual impact seems adverse

will you judge me by my days
way to few what some might say
old as hell will cause a fit
really not worth one shit

will you lay down by my side
give the geezer one last ride
pony the youngster on a rail
good time had then go to jail

will you find the hidden truth
love defined by age and youth
whispered lies and nothings said
end up lonely in a lovelorn bed

We all have our images....... what we think as mature behavior is in the eye of the beholder.... we can make the shell into whatever we wish..... fool ourselves into what part we want to believe is true.... and end up with....
