    Cycle II, Week 5: Upper B

    Yesterday's nutrition: Good.
    Last night's sleep: 8 hours.

    Chins: 3 @ BW
    5, 5, 5 @ +20 lbs (+5 lbs)
    DB Press: 5 @ 30 lbs
    4, 4, 4 @ 50 lbs (+2.5 lbs)

    Cable Row: 5 @ 77 lbs
    10, 10, 9 @ 110 lbs
    DB Bench Press: 5 @ 40 lbs
    10, 10, 8 @ 60 lbs (+5 lbs)

    EZ-BB Curl: 10, 10, 9 @ 55 lbs
    Tricep Pushdown: 10, 8, 6 @ 60 lbs

    Crux of workout: 69 minutes

Felt kind of defeated in my first pairing, despite hitting the mark on chins. As well, my previous best pressing 50 lbs was a triple. This is the first time hitting four for sets. That’s progress, even if it doesn’t feel like it. I’ll backcycle presses and try to improve.

Of all the things that never seems to stall, dumbbell bench is cruising along. It’s a LOT of concentration to get set up, but once I’m in position, the weight feels oddly light.
