We are here in Day to day life from a woman that turned 60 in Oct 2014 and who lives on a farm and Retired on January 2, 2016. I plan to do more sewing, work outside in the yard and just enjoy my retirement.

Were are in Branson. Arrived around 3:30 yesterday afternoon. Checked in at the motel after shows had been picked to see. Jim Stafford was last night at 8 and it was a good show. To confirm my inability to be a good mom to J, I had to get the folding chair out of the Tahoe for him to sit in. He “said” the seats were alright but they weren’t. He is just too broad. A sad sad realization. You know, God had told me over the days prior to put in a folding chair to take. Thankfully I listened to Him. The theater was only about 1/4 full so since we had seats on the 3d row in the right section and no one was sitting on the 1st row at all I ended up moving him closer to the center edge so he could see better. It was so sweet that Jim made a point to shake J’s hand. He went through the crowd and shook hands but he didn’t “have to” come to our sparse side.
We see Jerry Presley at 2 today, same theater so the chair will once again be needed, only this time I’m taking it to begin with and so some splainin to the folks will be needed. However I believe the staff is the same for all shows there so may not get the same strange looks. I know J notices, but never lets on that people are staring. There are multiple reasons they can be staring but I’m pretty sure the main one is is size and weight. *sigh
He is having a good time and that is the reason for the trip. I do not know what the future holds for us and I do know he had an extremely difficult time trying to breathe and sleep. Neither one of us got much rest last night as his breathing is very labored and he also talks in his sleep. I hope tonight is better since it is raining and that should help calm down the pollen. Pray for him please. It was down right scary listening to him try to breath last night. MUCH worse at night than day.
On with the mini vaca. Plan to try and do some shopping for him but not sure now with the rain. He’s not fond of getting wet.
Take care and God Bless and thank you all for your prayers.
