the wedding. the ceremony and after. in The Wonderland Years: 2015. Done.

so then the actual wedding started. er the ceremony. the bridesmaids and groomsmen came down the aisle first then the bride and groom. my sister was the officiant she was v. good. um. Kelsey looked nice as did everyone. my sister read a short thing Kelsey and seth had written. she added in her own personal touch. when she asked seth something about marrying Kelsey [rather when she read his vow] he decided to be sarcastic and then shook his head ‘no’. but we know he didn’t mean it. it was funny I liked it. i’m sarcastic too a lot. so after they kissed - and wow what a kiss - they lit 2 candles and then a unity candle. I wondered if it would go out since it was windy. no the flame stayed.
after the ceremony i talked w/ some of the members of the wedding party sarah, greg and some others i don’t remember who. i’d met sarah at the engagement get together she’s cute, small. the couple times i’ve talked to her she’s been nice although i don’t really know her. greg was the best man. he showed us a personalised wine bottle seth and kelsey had had. made for them. well the label’s custom it has a photo of them on it. i thought that was cool. so after a bit the members of the wedding party got together for photos while my mom, my cousins jim, megan and their significant others and I talked. jim’s wife is Rachel. they have 2 kids. and megan’s husband is tyler. they don’t have any kids and they’re. going to live in china for a yr. megan’s moving for her job. or maybe she got a job there. i’m not sure what she does but I think maybe she’s an accountant.
so then we went inside for cocktail hr. I had coke yet again. I say ‘again’ as I’ve had it a lot recently. I had it in Amsterdam a lot. they don’t seem to have dark sodas over there save for coke. oh they also have and sprite. which is fine it’s just different.
so during cocktail hr. a few people were drinking. I met the bernsteins leonard and Sharon. who are somehow related to us. um. no my aunt sue who’s seth’s mom is the niece of Sharon. sue’s brother’s paul who plays w/ the Colorado symphony. I think. I think maybe Barbara is his wife. anyway. I don’t like leonard. I’ve heard he’s racist though I didn’t experience that on...........uh fri. I still don’t like him though he doesn’t seem like a nice person. he’s nice enough just enough ya know? [or maybe not]. Sharon’s nice though. I went elsewhere in the room talked to some other people. I went by my aunt joan and jim and Rachel and. them. [‘them’ being joan, jim, rachel, megan, tyler and mom] their table. then I went over and talked to Barbara who I think is married to paul. she’s v. nice. friendly and outgoing. she has 2 kids lily and josh. lily’s a harpist she’ll be 13 this yr. she’s at Denver school of the arts. josh is I think 17 [makes me feel old. i’m 27] and he’s at George Washington. [high school]. we talked about our travels.
so after that we all went into a big room where we had dinner. first we had salad and bread. I don’t care for salad. then we had the main course which for me was a big heirloom tomato w/ stuff in it. that tomato dude was good. Sharon had it too. oh she and leonard were at our table along w/ my mom, my aunt cindy and Sharon’s daughter Lydia and her boyfriend whose name I don’t know. I don’t like Lydia either. I mean she’s nice but there’s something about her. she’s also tall which can come off as intimidating. apparently Sharon and Lydia have 3 daughters. well at least 2 Lydia and Hannah who used to be anne. she wasn’t there. it seemed like it took awhile for people to start dancing. they had good music. well some of it was good. during dinner they played Aretha, Fleetwood, beach boys, a cover of......... ‘the way you look tonight’ love that song.
