so in other news. the wedding. in The Wonderland Years: 2015. Done.

so um last night I went to my cousin’s wedding. it was up in the mtns. which I love. yeah apparently everyone likes Kelsey the lady my cousin seth is married too. well I like her too. I just don’t know her as well as others do. one of the first things I said to her when I met her 2 yrs. ago at my cousin Kelly’s graduation party was she seemed like a warm person. kelsey’s nice. she’s um perky.
so when I got to my mom’s yesterday we watched frozen. that movie was over fast. the first time I saw it was w/ my friend mark. I was drunk at the time so maybe that’s why it was such a great movie. I mean it’s not like. it’s not a bad movie. it’s sad and cuts too close for me. and then the 2nd time I saw it was w/ my sister. she liked the twist at the end. and then w/ my mom like I said. and th en we had the pasta my sister made for lunch. and then we got ready. I wore my great grandmother’s dress. it’s so pretty. it’s from the ‘30’s in Missouri. yeah so it’s old but it’s in incredible shape. we’ve had to had it altered a couple times. I don’t wear it a lot cause it’s old. the bodice of it has a swirly bead design on it. I think it’s cool to have something like that. like a watch or w/e. quite a few people liked my look. I guess people like old things. well not ‘old’ things but like. vintage.
yeah so when we were all ready we went and got my grandfather. he looked good in a striped suit and a fedora. and we went up to the mtns. which took. like an hr. and a half. on the way there it rained. when we got out of the eisenhower [tunnel] it was snowing. my mom got all excited as she does. It actually kindof terrified me. I mean not the snow itself but the fact that we were in the mtns. during that. ala ‘the shining’. I like tunnels they make me feel safe.
so we were early. we went into this room where we put our oats er coats we hung our coats up. and I talked to this lad Stephanie who’s from Oklahoma. she works w/ Kelsey. she’s married and has a sister in law. she was warm and friendly. well she talked to me first. I was sitting there awkwardly until she said something. I talked to one of Kelly’s friends whose name I don’t know. she was cool quiet. I talked to my mom for a bit. we got our programs and headed outside and waited. while we were waiting I took a photo of my sister and our grandfather talking. my sister was the officiant. she was in black and looked like she was at a funeral. I mean I like black and I know people wear it for other reasons but idinno about a wedding. well maybe in some cultures they do I don’t know. prior to going outside we got our coats.
also while we were waiting. there was music. I liked it. a cover of leonard Cohen’s ‘hallelujah’ played but right when we were getting all into it it stopped. after awhile everyone got all quiet. and i’m like oh I guess it’s starting. I forgot how weddings worked I’ve only been to a few and they were spaced apart, so. the last one I went to was almost 2 yrs. ago. 2 yrs. ago this coming aug. 31 it was my cousin Megan’s. she’s nice always has been.
