Tues and prayer request in Day to day life from a woman that turned 60 in Oct 2014 and who lives on a farm and Retired on January 2, 2016. I plan to do more sewing, work outside in the yard and just enjoy my retirement.

I am at work. There is a lull so thought I’d write a quick entry. Yesterday I started the day tired and so stiff from our weekend activities. Wow! I hobbled around like an old lady. ;) Today is better, thankfully. My back and neck are still a bit sore but my other joints seem to have forgiven me for over using them. Being on a concrete floor so long wasn’t helpful at all.
Much to my surprise the dumpster was still sitting at my house when I got home from work yesterday. I called them and they said they didn’t know they were to come and get it on Monday that I was suppose to call them when it was ready to pick up. Huh? I had talked about Monday pickup every time I had a phone conversation with them and the driver who brought it on Friday morning and not one time did anyone mention to call them to pick it up. Oh well. The girl was nice and said she wouldn’t charge me for it being there an extra day.
Dude and kids all came down after school was out yesterday and I had been home long enough to get the dishes done. I’ve done NOTHING to the inside of my home for DAYS!! It is needing cleaned so terribly bad!! The yard is needing mowed again, laundry is needing done and I have either no time or no energy to do everything that needs to be done. Then when I DO have any energy, I use it outside planting or watering something or both. *sigh My poor June visitor may never ever come back after she visits this time. I’ll make sure the floors are vacuumed and swept and mopped before her arrival but that’s about all I can promise and that may be iffy depending on some tests J is scheduled to do next Monday. PLEASE keep him in your prayers!!
We are going to go to Branson for 2 nights. We leave Thursday and return on Saturday. No need to have to hurry anywhere so I’m hoping he will do ok. He still is very short of breath and tires quickly when walking so will give us plenty of time to get where we are going. Slow and steady and stop and rest when he needs to. Again, prayers would be appreciated as I really want him to enjoy the time in Branson. We will see another Elvis impersonator by his request and then another show. Plan to also go to the big and tall men’s store and try and find him new shorts and pants. I do know that a lot of his problem are weight related and I have a plan. He’s not going to like it at all, but I believe we’re in a life and death situation now.
Going to end this now. Take care and God Bless
