Today has been a clear sky day with bright sunshine, as spring days go this was one was near perfect, a camera can capture sunshine nicely but not a cold breeze; so a jumper and jacket were welcome! It was ok walking but not a day for hanging about, I was fine wondering about with a camera as just now spring seems in full bloom.

The hedgerows here near to Newquay are dress by white blossom, we have two Thorns flowering in spring and this first to bloom is the Black Thorn, this Thorn has its flowers out before the leaf, in the coming weeks the Hawthorn will bloom, its flowers coming after the leafs have opened; back at Shropshire it was known as Mayflower.

This area is in a time of change, there has been building going on since we have being Ziggy and Lola for Agility Classes with Jo, over the next two to four years houses and bungalows will take over the area, for plans we have seen it looks as if Newquay could be a third larger when all the building has finished.

The traffic around Newquay seems to be busier, people egger for an early holiday while the sunshine’s, it is not holiday season yet, but in the weeks ahead the numbers will rise, and next month we have two Bank holiday’s! May Day Holiday on the fourth which is a few days off the true Mayday, and then there is the ‘Spring Bank Holiday’ or some times ‘Late Spring Bank Holiday’ I still like the old Bank Holiday ‘Whitsunday’
