The last couple of day have been very very good. I had ordered new feather pillows on Monday the 12th a little after 8pm. I ordered 2 Queen size pillows. They arrived by UPS yesterday late afternoon. Who’d a thought? I was totally surprised when I opened the box and found 4 feather pillows. FOUR! Uh O I figured. Either they made a mistake or I did and wondered how much the bill actually was. I went back to the email they sent after I placed my order, and sure enough, the price was for a set of 2 and since I ordered “2” I got 4 feather pillows. The instructions told me to put them in the dryer for 20 minutes to refluff them, which I did 2 earlier this evening. They certainly fluffed and look HUGE compared to the two that haven’t been fluffed yet. Don’t think I’m going to fluff the other two as I am a cuddler with my pillows. And too fluffy can make my neck hurt so will hold off on the fluff part for the other 2.

My boss has been out sick and this morning I thought I was going to have to do a briefing in his absence. The good news was that he called me from home to tell me that another Div boss was going to do the brief and I didn’t have to be there. Whoop Whoop The other boss had the majority of the briefing reasons under him and he was good with it. Again..Whoop Whoop! I hate going to briefings, meetings, or updates. If these gatherings were actually “brief” and we actually had a “meeting” I would faint. Updates are sent ALL DAY LONG through the email system so updates are repeats of what has already been sent to us. Blah!

I got paid yesterday and have direct deposit so went into my account a little bit ago and SURPRISE my Fed refund has already hit. It was e-filed by the accountants office just a few days ago when I went to pick them up and pay them. It was after the 1st of this month, so this is first for me to get my refund (thankfully I do too) within 30 days. Wow

Will use my refund to pay extra on the house payment next month. I’ll get this house paid off yet!

WooHoo! Sold a headband yesterday. It was a silver/glittery headband and those are $10. I only made one like that but now have 2 black glittery/sparkly headbands made. A asked me to make a couple of purple ones so hope to get those done within a day or two.

We work cattle tomorrow. It’s suppose to rain. typical for cattle working day. Yuk! Hope the rain holds off until after we’re done. The cattle will get their shots, a fly repellent that is poured on their backs and the baby bull calves will become steers. Have no clue how many there are, but I’ll find out tomorrow.

I also need to clarify about my seed planting. I don’t or will not have a “garden” as such, unless something unexpected happens. I do container type gardening. I keep scoping out the yards to have find that perfect spot to create a real garden but it hasn’t happened in 7 years since I moved into the house. Maybe next year when I’m retired. Ground is so hard and rocky that it wears me out just thinking about using a hoe, shovel, or tiller. Maybe I’ll build some raised beds and go that route. I’d like to so time will tell.

Burned some leaves around the shop this evening and made the weed/grass killer solution to hopefully kill the poison ivy growing on the right side of the shop door. I made a 1/2 gallon of the solution and slung it on the vines and then poured the rest of it straight down where it was coming out of the ground. It worked last year, however didn’t kill it dead dead. Just dead. ;) I want it dead dead as my grandson and my oldest son are highly allergic to it. I used the rake to move stuff from around the stalk or whatever you call it and maybe it isn’t ivy but sumac or something like that. I get my poison’s mixed up, but do know I want to kill them.

I’m getting tired and it just a little after 6:30pm. Bet I go to bed early tonight.

Take care and God Bless
