Took J back to the doctor this morning and his oxygen levels are coming up. They read about 88-89 yesterday. In the 90s this morning so she was pleased. Will take him back next week to see if she thinks he needs to take another round of antibiotics. I was very concerned because he has to take two different pills each day and one of them he takes 3x a day. He has had a such a hard time swallowing pills but this time, he’s got it down. It may take him 3 or 4 times but he doesn’t give up and gets them taken. YAY!! Down’s folks have extra thick tongues which makes taking pills a little more difficult at least it does for J. And it is harder for him to get it on the back of the tongue too but this is a giant milestone and I’m very happy.
Asked the doctor about getting a handicap parking thing for J when we go to Branson and she filled it out today. I’ll pick it up this month sometime and have it when needed. I think it will be one of those you hang on the mirror or at least that is what I’ll get as I just licensed the Tahoe and don’t want to pay to do that again. When needed is what we need and if he doesn’t, that fine too.
I also asked about a lump on the left lower jaw. Asked her if it should be checked out and she said YES! She gave me antibiotics to see if they would make a difference in the size in a couple of weeks. I hope so for sure. If not, I’m thinking I’ll get a referral somewhere else. Blah! Pray that the antibiotics make it go away!!
Cleaned the kitchen this morning after we got home. I plan on taking some pictures of the headbands I’ve been making, and A told me she would sell them in town for me. Yay!! If that works out, I can put off going to Ebay or Etsy and shipping!
Guess I’ll end this now and do something. So much to do and so little energy. lol
Take care and God Bless
