Yesterday we visited Wadebridge to see the Agility Show, it is on the Royal Cornish Show Ground, it is a three day event starting yesterday and finishing on Easter Sunday, in one corner there is a gathering of Caravans, some with high canvas walls round the caravan; these are the keen Agility people having a weekend just a two minute walk to the eight agility courses!

We were there so our Daughter could have Lola registered for agility competitions, there were people to messier dogs for the category the dog fits into; so latter this year Lola will start competitions.

It was rather poor weather there on Friday, it was a dull damp cold day and I was happy I had swapped back to a warm jumper; just right to keep me warm walking round the agility courses! Those who had their caravans there were parked in a nice spot, a little sunshine would have improved their weekend.

The only food available was from one refreshments trailer, of the four of us Lola was keenest, so I had a burger with bacon, the rest shared a tray of cheesy chips; hardly any thing from the five a day list – or is it seven now! I had chosen the burger and bacon so that Lola could have a rasher of bacon, there is no chance of avoiding one of Lola’s pleading looks; eating a burger rapped in a napkin in one hand with bacon rapped in a napkin in the other hand what can you do – eat some napkin with your burger!

As well as getting Lola registered, we were keeping eyes on the etiquette approaching and in the agility course; Lola was watching for any two legged fans of the greatest bread of dogs on the planet, Lola is definitely a people dog; other dogs are ok but people are much better to play with.
