Winging my way eastward... in Travel

Tonight is a red-eye flight from Los Angeles to Raleigh, arriving about 5:30AM Friday. The direct flights make the unpleasantness a little easier to endure, barely. Airlines in the U.S. are just terrible at providing good service, even in the first class cabin. I remember flying back in the 70’s when the absolute worst seat on the plane was what Delta would call a Business Class seat today.

The airlines slap labels like “Economy Comfort” on seats that are no different than the others, then charge unwitting passengers and additional $29 to get one of them. It really is a criminal enterprise.
