Lots of things have been happening in the Kingdom of Suzu
Had the implants and all is good, see the dr in 2 months.
Medical oncologist is pleased with everything, I do need to start taking calcium with vitamin d3 as I have the start of osteopenia, see him in 6 months.
Quick weekend to see my MIL and SIL in NC. MIL is doing well, but she is lonely. My SIL is not in that great shape health-wise, she might have MS is still trying to get diagnosed.
Bought a car!!!! Got. 2015 Tucson Hyundai in graphite gray----I love it! Was thinking of the Santa fe but the Tucson is a bit smaller and just felt more “me”----I love it!
Had the mri and follow up dr visit. I have a torn meniscus and set up surgery for the end of May. There is a possibility that when he goes in, he would have to do more work which could necessitate being out of work and on crutches for 6 to 8 weeks but he will not know that until he goes in. Work was not real happy about it because of vacations coming up but only two people are on the calendar for now for vacation and it is near the 4 week mark and maybe I could come in at 6 weeks. The one supervisor was a little snippy about it but if I wait till after the summer, that will be a year that I have been dealing with this situation. Plus if it would only be a two week recovery, I would be upset with waiting that long. As it is I will be going on vacation in two weeks and limping along. Who knows, I might come back from vacation and say, push it off till after summer.
LittleMan broke his arm in two places! He is not quite 2 and 1/2 and was still in a crib which he can get in and out. He asked my son to move a stool over and Kman was a bit leery but did it. Sure enough, that night he fell and broke his arm. He is a trooper tho because as he was coming out of the anesthesia, he was cracking knock knock jokes with the staff. They had to wait a couple of days to put the permanent cast on and he took the splint off! He picked green for his permanent cast and told his mom that he liked the hospital! Oh! They leave for Disney next Saturday!
Well, I think that is it for happenings. It is a beautiful, sunny day here and much needs to get done, have a wonderful day everyone.
