Serves me right. Just told someone yesterday that I’ve been sleeping until my alarm woke me up. Awake before 4am and now up and drinking coffee.
Started raining yesterday afternoon and continued until I went to bed. Not sure it rained all night but there was thunder and lightening with the rain this time. Also read that Mo. got an earthquake (small) yesterday. If we felt it I haven’t heard anyone mention it. Since there is a fault line running through here, someday we will certainly feel it. ;(
Got some exciting news in a private note when I got here this AM. Can’t wait for June!!
Speaking of good and exciting news yesterday was a glorious day. The position descriptions for two of the positions I supervise was graded out at 2 grades above what they are now. I was thanking Jesus all afternoon and last night. Still thank Jesus!!! This is one of my goals before I retire and it is going to happen. Praise the Lord!!
Have the other position description that should be a bit higher than the other two that I’m working on now. Intend to get that re-written again today and then it is evaluated by the human resources person. There is more to tell but I will save you the long drawn out two weeks on this saga. It is certain and without a doubt that my boss nor his secretary know what the heck they are talking about when they tell me what to do in the saga. I finally went to a friend who works in the human resources department and they put me on the right track. You would think that my boss and the secretary would attempt to give their division supervisors correct information. So tired of idiots giving out incorrect information. January 2 looks better each and every day.

I did check on the survivor SS benefit to see if I could draw from Fred. I talked to a very nice and helpful lady and she figured it every which way but bottom line is, I make too much money. I really wasn’t surprised but hey, you don’t know if you don’t try. I’m not disappointed, mad, or upset by the outcome. I feel confident that things are going according to plan and things will work out for the best by the time I retire and into my retirement. I’m at peace. Wonderful feeling.

Need to head to the shower and go ahead and get ready for work and go in early. Really want to get the other PD rewritten and sent to HR.

Take care and God Bless
