‘Perfection on a plate’ in The odd entries from life …….

This Palm Sunday is quite noisy, over night and into the morning there was a rather wild storm, it is easing down now but now we can hear cars skidding about, we are not sure if the cars are cars or model radio control cars; the sound doesn’t help us to decide!

On this Palm Sunday I an 64, I have the odd stiffness in my joints now and then, yet I don’t feel 64 yet; perhaps it is right that age is a state of mind. My Daughter has cooked me a full English breakfast with all the things I enjoy, and definite no backed beans; on toast yes but never on a ‘Full English Breakfast’

I have received an animated birthday card, it was from the lady who sold me my Hyundai 30i estate car, this was the first digital birthday card, I’ve had a few such cards from them about selling cars; and I suppose a birthday card from a business is much the same!

A late lunch is about to arrive, something light after that wonderful breakfast! This Sunday has turned out quiet, nothing to do with my aging just the inclement weather has forced a cancelling of the agility class; I will not complain this time …..

Note, as much as I like a full English breakfast I don’t have them very often, the collective effect of fried bacon, sausages, black pudding, mushrooms, hash brownies and fried bread is not welcome by one’s heart! To ease the fat level the tomatoes were backed, and the single egg poached ……
