Busy weekend in In the Kingdom of Suzu

Staying in this whole weekend in an effort to get everything organized in anticipation of surgery on Friday. I will be out of work for two weeks and then no heavy lifting for 6 weeks. I am anxious for the surgery as I can then get the mri and see what is up with my knee. I probably won’t be able to have anything done until late summer/ early fall but at least I will hopefully have a better idea of treating it.

We go to Barbuda in 8 weeks, was hoping my knee would be fixed but that is not going to happen. Hopefully the warm water and hot weather will make it feel somewhat better. It is hurting pretty bad right now, but I think it is because of the cold weather and I had to temporarily stop my supplements because of the upcoming surgery. Hopeful once I have the surgery and can go back on the supplements, plus the weather will be warmer, my knee won’t hurt as much.

Taking a quick trip to see MIL Good Friday and come back Easter Sunday. It would be nice to be a bit longer but with being out the end of the year for 8 weeks, then another 2 and then going to Barbuda for 2 weeks did not want to push being out any more. Had hoped to see mil when I was out for the 8 weeks but it did not happen, mainly because I had doctor appointments every week! Ah well. We are planning to take the two oldest princesses down to the NC beach in August and will spend a couple of days with her then as well.

Rest time is over, more chores await!
