Mozart, walking and drink in blackpropaganda

As I wrote earlier - Tuesday was a lovely day - but it has gone downhill since then - depressions rushing through bringing wind and rain - and then clearing leaving clear skies when the temperature drops over night.
So the walk today seemed doomed from the start - rain was forecast, with wind, but 16 hardy souls turned out - all well protected against any weather God could throw at us. In fact we walked for over an hour in the dry - and reached our venue for coffee and scone - certainly welcome after battling against the wind, Just after we left the heavens opened - and we all got soaked - the rain finding all the weak points in the weather proofed kit. Still it was an excellent walk - and two hours later we had our monthly wine tasting - twenty odd (!) people tasting three white and four reds from the southern hemisphere - from Chile to South Africa. All from local suppliers - mainly supermarkets, And so I was driven home by SW.. who sniffs but does not drink too much - and as I was watching the tv before tea my eyes were closing. No wonder after all that exercise - and drink!
Makes a change from yesterday when we went into the city and enjoyed an orchestral concert. At one time I though Mozart was all about pretty tunes - but he was the master of evocative music - a genius in making the music bring out emotions. And to think he died in 1791!
So now, since SW.. has gone out - I think I shall just have a little rest - and think great thoughts - or possibly erotic ones.
