Question in meh...

Have you ever been forced into being petty?

That’s kind of where I am.

My sister and I had a crowd funding thing going on for the food truck. One person gave us $25 dollars and that was all the money we got. We posted and reposted to Twitter, Facebook and wherever we could hoping to get a leg up and nothing.

We’ve talked to friends and family about our venture, but still no takers. Now I’ve given once or twice to a crowd funding venture to friends. Two separate friends put up separate fundraisers and met their goals, but neither of them donated to mine, but I’ve donated to theirs, well at least one of them.

So, I’ve declared that I’m not giving to anyone else anymore. I’m trying to start a business to be self sufficient and I can’t get any love…and that smarts.

We only asked for any amount of $1 being the least one could donate.

So this slight has made me petty.
I only write this because the one friend that I gave money to has sent an email about the operating cost of her business. She’s cool, but no.
