Starting at the end! in The odd entries from life …….

It was after ten last night when I was sat in my chair in front of the computer, it like every thing in the house that needed electricity had just gone down, I was thinking before moving where did I last have my torch, it came to me it was standing on the kitchen table has every thing was suddenly coming to life.

After near thirty years working daily in darkrooms I always have a think before moving, in these situations I wont to know where Ziggy is, Ziggy in the lose in the dark remind me of several students, and one nicely curved young lady running into me in a darkroom with the force of a rugby player cutting through the opposition!

After these situations I automatically go to the window, this time it seems our side of the road was back on while across the road there little to see except darkness. A little latter I was relaxing in the lounge with a new DVD, again it took a while to get to the fetcher, after several warnings of pirating films and watching a selection of the studios latest films two years ago!!!

I was just getting nicely into Oblivion, no I didn’t nod off! But the power supply nodded of again, thankfully the outage was so short our gadgets were getting going before they had fully crashed, and I managed to pickup where I was rudely inter*

Going to bed I reset my old alarm clock, with out these power brakes it works well, but resetting I need to press the time button down very hard, but I settled down with my alarm clock and wristwatch in union; when I got up in the dark my alarm clock was flashing 04:14 while my battery clock next to the Mac was displaying 6:05!

Our watercolour painting classes started yesterday, a seascape was the first of the subject, the sky was very important and I didn’t start it very well, not putting enough into the sky and couldn’t finish the panting as I would have should; I have a second chance on Thursday with acrylic paints! Of course I will try my hand at a better job of this subject ….

We had an outing in the morning, Lola went on the beach with my Daughter, I went to the Co-op with a little list, I didn’t shop for long and was back at the beach, and I was there the capture Lola and the morning beach before we were of home.

Finishing with the start ….!
