Another warnm Spring day.

Another early spring day, this time seen from the seawall at Portreath a few miles west along Cornwall’s north coast, we used to be there quite often as Lola’s then groomer is where; we have one just two miles from home now.

Portreath is a seaside village on Cornwall’s north coast, situated between Godrevy Point and St Agnes, it is in a valley with it’s beach facing north west. In the group of buildings set back against the cliff there is one on sale; £3.000.000! I did have a quick look in my wallet, moths all over the place ……

When we were here more often have chips, set in the seawall is a small café, the eating is strictly al-fresco and the chips are perfect, lightly fried and crisps. In the off season the beach is quiet, once the season is up and running there are the suntan people on the sand, in the water are the surfing crowd; there are a few on the water ….

Watercolour, a first try.

Again watercolour, not quite what I intened, a huge scarecrow from a Hollywood child’s horror film .......!!!

One rewarding aspect of my painting classes is to watch my Daughter’s gathering ability sour, I’m quite happy to follow in her wake. My work is a little up and down, where as my girls work is good every canvas; but I do my best.
