I don’t know when it happened, but it could have come at another time. This is the pits! While I’m not going to claim it, I’m going to treat it and act like it doesn’t exist. Something done caught hold to me. I felt myself get hot on the bus and extremely nauseaous. ::looks at word:: That doesn’t look right, but I felt sick to my stomach and I felt like I had to have an EBS (explosive bowel syndrome) moment…which I didn’t. Now, my chest is all heavy, spongy and raspy, I’ve got this cough which is the byproduct of the raspy crap to get it out of my chest. I hope it goes no further than that. I don’t have the time or patience it takes to be the “S” word. Tomorrow is my last class, this weekend I have Art in Bloom where I’m supporting some friends, my grandbaby for a short while, and my son’s birthday outing. AND I’m renting a car to do all of this. I canNOT get that way this weekend. It’s too important!

I’m the only support staff working in my department today. My boss was out all morning and he has a few meetings this afternoon, but those are internal people. I was supposed to leave today at 2:00 but my reason for leaving was rescheduled so I’m here all day. I was going to still take the time off, but then came in to realize my co-worker is out. Supervisor on vacation. I had/have no one to cover me for lunch. I’m not supposed to eat lunch or anything at my desk, but guess what I did any damn way. AND I’m going to mark this on my time card as taking a half hour for lunch. I’m going to get my extras. Eff that.

If I got sick from anyone at work, it would be from whoever that was in HR (a few of their offices sit behind two walls of my office) that was coughing all hard and dry. These people kept coming into work and they were sick. I keep my door closed because of that reason, but I can’t seem to make Patrick get that. But even with my door closed I found out today that it doesn’t matter. Someone in there sprayed Lysol today. When the blower turned on all of that Lysol air blew into my office as if I sprayed it. I’m not happy about this. I ride the bus to and from work. Most of those people on my route are okay, but you always run across the gross person that open mouth coughs, or sneezes and never covers their face and :: shivers:: uuuughh!! That was all to say, I’ve been exposed to this weather and these people and I’ve managed to go all winter without coming down with anything! It’s just not fair. It just isn’t. I rarely get sick and when I do it’s horrendous. I’m mad now just thinking about it.

grrrr…

Send good vibes.
I need them desperately.

Angrily, though it’s not your fault…
