you say that you want me back, maybe
except on your terms, baby
as if the only way to save me
is to change me
rearrange me
but if that’s love
then you love strangely
as if it’s your job to explain me
but that’s not your job
not anymore
kick me to the floor
and I’ll get on back up
without your help
all by myself
just like you left me
because they wouldn’t accept me
in the circle of real mild excess
and second-hand success
and so I guess that I’ll take loneliness
rather than say yes
than say yes again
