It’s 2:30 in the afternoon, I’m sitting at my desk at work with a good amount to do and very little motivation to do it. Could it be because it’s the day before Thanksgiving and almost no one is in the office? Well that might have something to do with this but I’m think that because I feel like this most afternoons that maybe the specific day is kind of meaningless. Anyway, let’s get on with the show. I’ve had time recently to write but I don’t really feel like I have anything to write about. My life is pretty boring lately. And I’m pretty much ok with that, I haven’t killed a drifter in weeks, haven’t even felt the need to. So that’s good. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I’m really looking forward to it. As holiday’s go this is one of my favorites you don’t have to rush around and buy anyone presents all I have to do is show up at my sister’s house with enough beer and wine for everyone and an appetizer or two. Then eat some really good turkey and fall asleep watching football on their couch. Wake up and go home. Basically it’s my definition of a perfect day. But then again it’s my family so in addition to appetizers and alcohol I should probably bring a first aid kit and a tazer, just in case. Last time I was at my sister’s house was this summer and I got hit in the leg with a potato, fired from a spud gun. It was like the JFK assassination, no one saw the shooter but I think it came from the back and to the left. Actually I never saw it coming and it did hit me from behind. It hurt, a lot, left me with a good sized bruise, but I digress. Anyway Happy thanksgiving to everyone!
