The ominous music lingering in the air… is it present because it is Friday the 13th or because there are only 10 days until the bar exam?

It is weird to not have any substantial videos left. Oh, don’t get me wrong. I’m not going to be sitting on my hands. Today is going to be filled with Practice Quizzes, graded Essays, and writing outlines. Speaking of outlines… the Iowa Bar Association sent a humorous e-mail out. Apparently, they have received a lot of e-mails and phone calls asking them what is going to be on the MEE. This is hilarious to me because… think about it. This is equivalent to going to a professor’s office the week of Finals and saying “What is going to be on the final?” LOL! The IBA just said “Uh… guys, we aren’t going to accidentally tell you exactly what is on the test. Good try, though. Keep up on your outlines and check out the MEE portion of our website.”

Without videos or substantial “educational” aspects, motivation becomes a big hurdle. It is important to go through these practice scenarios to mentally prepare myself for The Big Time and it is important to try and then fail so that I can study more effectively. But… there is definitely a motivation problem.

First up today: More essay practice. Property Essay. Ugh.
That, logically, followed up with a bunch of “compare/contrast/improve” grading comments and MEE Textbook reading.
Followed by an ungodly amount of multiple choice question practice.

Tomorrow will be much more of the same… but I hope I have a great deal more motivation and am able to power through a great deal more. I still have 3 essay practices to do and almost 600 multiple choice question exercises left. And, strangely enough, a big reason why I want to work through all of those sooner rather than later is so that I can return to creating study guides and really drill down some of the topics I’m having issues with.

This is the song that has been stuck in my head today. Never, before today, had I ever considered this song to have elements that would be appropriate for an Anime Intro… don’t know why, but that thought crept into my head today and I could see it fitting well.
