‘what – quarter to four already’ after our short day’s they seem to flash by, and with the bright days of sunlight we are having now it is easy to think it is still early afternoon; strangely I don’t feel hungry until ‘what – quarter to four already’

Looking round the garden I see the Daffodils are stating to form the flower buds, the little patch of Snowdrops still look good, I haven’t photographed then yet as the area is very muddy still; so an area where I’m not keen to kneel!

A catch-up with my painting ……

A watercolour painting of Perranporth Beach, from a photograph I took over Christmas.

I have made painting of this subject in the Watercolour and Acrylic Class’s, this was made at home with Acrylic paint ‘Sunflowers’

These two were made in the last two Class’s, above is ‘Anemones’ and below ‘Mug and Orange Quarters’

With both Watercolour and Acrylic paint we make an edge with masking tape, some seem times I get a good edge yet soon times the paint works under the tape!

your paintings are very good. AS for a snowdrops photo...why don't you lay down a tarpaulin or large piece of plastic and spread out on it? hugs p

I like your sunflowers.

I think you have a talent for creating cheerful art. Your colours are very pleasing.

Which medium do you prefer? Watercolor or acrylic? The smudgy edges don't both me, it's the picture that matters. Find myself quite taken by the orange slices and mug, believe it's the colors in the slices and the free, rather jaunty manner in which they are arranged with the sunlight affecting half of the painting.
