So I’m going on week three, right. So yesterday was the first day I was able to look at my inbox in my university email. Upon looking at the university email inbox, I see 3 emails from the bursar’s office with a statement in it for tuition. Prior to that, like early last week, I received a letter saying I needed to give them a copy of my IRS tax transcript for 2013 and I had to fill out a verification document.
Now, that statement for tuition is about $1890 or something like that. My heart dropped because I’m like I don’t have that kind of money. ::faints:: Next email says something about your personal code will be mailed to you to register for some account that I will receive a card for that will have money on it and I still really don’t know what it’s for. I got alarmed because when I saw it, I thought it was some kind of credit card that I got because it got in someone’s system that I am a student of the unversity. No remember when I got this letter, I hadn’t been able to get into my email. I put it in the recycling and am so glad it wasn’t thrown out. ::smh:: too much going on.
So today I sent an email to the bursar and told them in so many words, “Hey. I applied for financial aid. What else do I need to do keep from paying you out of my own pocket until it’s time to? I need steps. I’m new to this thing. Help a sister out, please & thank you.” lol
But everything is okay. They got back in touch with me so I’m okay. I still don’t have my student ID. It looks crazy anyway, but it’s whatever.
So that’s it for this portion of the program.
Gotta start studying some more for class tonight.
