I did go to work yesterday and although I didn’t feel wonderful I plugged along and was actually very busy all day. I ended up staying about 30 minutes late as a repairman was there to work on a piece of equipment. The equipment is esentential to one of the areas and it has been down since last Friday. Horrid and I didn’t know or realize it hadn’t been fixed yet until I got to work yesterday morning. The backlog for that area is not pretty and even though the machine and the computer it is “supposed” to communicate with still aren’t, the big machine will still operate. This morning the guys will run all the pieces through it and manually track the cost and the pieces per office. It will take them all day to get caught up and I need the number of pieces that didn’t get processed within 24 hours to be counted. I need to report that on up the chain. The older man there does not like to report less than perfect performance and he doesn’t realize that it is costing us positions. Old and stubborn men are going to be the death of me yet.
I did get some great news yesterday. A project I’ve been working on for several years has finally gotten an outcome. I will not get the credit for it, but I don’t care. I’m just stoked that I have finally seen a positive outcome on a project that consumed me at times for weeks on end. If you need instant gratification, do NOT work for any government agency. Just sayin.
A came down last night and she and I worked on her paperwork for taxes. she has an appointment with her tax lady on Monday. I was able to email the spreadsheets with all of her expenses and income for 2014 and A will call her today to see if all of the spreadsheets should be printed out for her appointment on Monday.
Monday’s appointment sounds iffy in the weather forecast, but as usual in this area … it is a wait see forecast. They make me a bit more nervous this time as they aren’t sharing possible snowfall amounts. I’ve seen that turn into a pretty significant amount when they skirt around the issue. I take it they just can’t tell how much moisture will freeze or just be rain. I’m ready.
I’ve got wonderful news to share with you. Owen (oldest grandson) will be Baptized on Sunday. Praise the Lord. A told me he had some questions and they talked with their pastor. He accepted Jesus as Savior and God’s son and now will be baptized. He is the first of grands to be guaranteed to be with me in Heaven. How exciting.
Time for me to get ready for work. Take care and God Bless

I think so far I have 3 out of 5 of my grands that are saved. Two have been baptized. That is wonderful about Owen.

Interesting to hear about the workaday world from you and the comment about old and stubborn men? Priceless. I know it means a lot to you that your grandson made that decision. Glad he made you so happy. And it was his decision.
