I write a lot about the struggles, but right now–

We’re (actively) crazy about each other, full of excited chills and impatience to get married, and completely happy. And it is good. We are those sappy ‘newlyweds’ giving each other overly intimate looks and I don’t even want to vomit.

Sure, this morning we had to decide to go grocery shopping instead of getting pancakes at IHOP, but because it was his money from sold stocks, he got to pick the things to splurge and I cut coupons, and then we came home and I made pancakes. We read a devotional during dinner and were super open with each other. We’ve done burpees and some cleaning/organizing. There’s $10.37 in my bank account right now, so he’ll probably have to fill my car with gas later. I don’t think I can make it to payday with my stupid commute–but I start a new job Monday that pays slightly more right now and a lot more later. Because of him, I didn’t have to decide to buy people food or cat food, and Lena has a full bowl and a full tummy and is none the wiser.

We settled into our computer stations. Mine’s in the bedroom and his is in the living room so he can have the electrical/Internet hookups. We’re happy and far enough to both listen to our own things without headphones, but close enough to yell “I love you” and random comments/questions. Lena’s on the bed behind me, snoring.

It’s just a really, really, really nice night.
