Too soon for dinner, too late for lunch. in The Awesome Chronicles of me.

These four things I KNOW ARE TRUE:

1: SNOOOOWWWWWW

2: Saturday was both meh and fun.

3: I found an FFXIV Free company (Think: Guild) that is awesome.

4: I’m actually using my stovetop!

so here we go.....

Snow is yucky. I shoveled a pathway to the mailbox and for Fedex to come (I finally got my board games christmas gift coming this week) And I called someone to plow my driveway, which will be either tonight or tomorrow, I have such anxiety when it comes to the phone. I dunno why. I’ve always been like that.

Anyways. The awesome news in Final Fantasy XIV is I found a Free company (Think of a guild in other MMOs) that actually DOES stuff. This has made me extremely happy. I can talk ,vent and all that good stuff now! That is cool.

Saturday was meh and fun all in one. I went to two gaming meet ups. And the first one.. we played two games (I got there at noon, and left at 630.. I wanted to leave at 6.. I was kind of grumpy over that) One game lasted 4 1\2 hours .. beyond my threshold of random game day games (3-3 1\2 hours for a non planned game) (This was Merchants and Mauraders, a pirate game like Sid Meiers Pirates.. it is an ok game.. but death is really punishing) and the other game just Dragged along.. neat game and concept.. never playing with five though again. Blargh. After leaving I went up to Grove City and played a few more games and that was a lot more fun. My kitties missed me after being gone for nearly 13 hours with no human interaction.

Sunday was okay. I got a cheaper hotel room for gencon (like 1000 bucks cheaper.. the expedia hotel was 2 grand.. but was a great backup) Some people had problems with the portal, this was my first time using it but its all good. They will never be able to satisfy 60,000 people. They tried a lottery system this year. It was smooth for me. But i can understand the frustration. I just am happy I got a nice place and fairly cheap along side the pay when you get there method which I like.

Today.. I shoveled snow. Bleh. I am also experimenting with some cooking ideas. (I don’t really cook much to be honest) I’m gonna brown some ground beef, and onion (alongside some garlic powder) mix it with macaroni and cheese and some Sriracha sauce, put it over some garlic naan and boom dinner. (I tried curry powder and garlic powder on Friday and it wasn’t bad)

So that is all for me. I shall return on Wednesday.

The kitties are looking to cause trouble.
