To progress we need to struggle! in The odd entries from life …….

It’s been Sunflowers this week, my Watercolour painting wasn’t very much to my liking, I will e-mail Judi for the hand-out so I can have a second or third attempt! At today’s Acrylic class I had a chance to do better with a defiant medium, but the end of class I was happier with my acrylic painting, my Daughter is doing very well with both Watercolour and Acrylic; it very nice to see her enjoying painting. Judi said my acrylic painting was better than the watercolour.

Sunflowers, or one and half …..

This is last weeks acrylic painting ‘Jug with apples and pears’ I did put it here as work in progress, I’ve added the folded cloth, added a little colour to the apples and pears; and finally removed the masking tape. So far this year I have had more susses with acrylic paint, the ‘Sunflowers’ painting was quite challenge; I thought and Judi said it was.

To progress we need to struggle, and these last two classes I have; now I’m ready for the progress ……….
