As I predicted, the huge weight loss and huge migraine was down to me being severely dehydrated. On Sunday I was down to 13st 0.4lb, a weight loss of 8.2lb since Tuesday. Yesterday (Monday) is my weigh in day and my weight stood at 13st 3.4lb, which is still a great weight loss. My first target is 12st 10lb, a loss of 5%. I’m hoping to be down to that two weeks from now.
John is addicted to Skyrim. He doesn’t often get addicted to computer games, the last one was Final Fantasy 8! Rob got himself the XBox One, so now his 360 is in the living room for ahem the kids to play on. I started off the game as a female character and John kind of took over, staying up till 6am on Saturday. So now he’s really good and advanced and I’m completely clueless and rubbish. I like watching him play it though. He also went over to Howard’s house last night to play Elite with Howard and Simon. I remember when they all used to play huge marathons of that on Shaun’ s BBC computer (22 years ago!), but last night he was home by 1am. He said he didn’t like this version quite as much.
Bel has started wearing make up. My mam bought it for her for Christmas. I wish she’d checked with me first, I think Bel’s a bit too young at 12. Anyway, it’s bought now. Bel wore eyeliner on Saturday to go hang out with her friends, which I don’t mind really, but her friends told her how pretty she looks, so now she’s wearing it at school too. I know there’s no point telling her not to, it won’t work because some of her friends do. All I can do is tell her how to apply it properly. At least it is only a bit of eyeliner, which the school are ok about. The moment she starts covering her face in orange and drawing on ridiculous black eyebrows, her make up will go in the bin. I’m not having her looking like a startled duck with a brillo pad on her head!
