::sigh:: Feeling a twinge of the ol’ existential crisis at the moment. I know I need down time, it’s bloody obvious that my brain can only take so much studying… but anytime I do less than 10 hours now… I feel as if I haven’t done enough. But… I must also be a good husband and take care of my home. I’ve studied for 4 hours today before the wife came home… cooked her dinner and suggested we watch some television. I was hoping for some brainless comedy, something light… borderline childish. Flashing lights, obvious jokes, something particularly sophomoric without being entirely juvenile. Instead, the wife wishes to do a few hours of Midsommer Murders. Not a bad program, frankly, but… 1990s British Crime Drama. So my brain keeps saying If you’re going to fill your mind with law, do it to study! But… I still want to spend time with my wife… and I’ll have over 12 hours of study under my belt tomorrow… hell, I have a meeting with a lawyer on Tuesday all about the bar exam… but… my brain is in that space where it is either (1) Study; (2) Entertained; (3) or bored. And presently… for the last two or three hours, at least… I’m simply in bored.
