The Eve in General

Marinara complete. Meat sauce made. Lasagna layered. Oven is in pre-heat.

I cheated and bought garlic bread instead of making it this year. My garlic seemed to sprout overnight.

I have to remember the lobster mac ‘n’ cheese for my parents. It has been a custom the last few years. I’m always shocked at how small that casserole is considering it costs $65.

It’s good, and it is hard to eat much of it because it is so rich.

While out purchasing the garlic bread it struck me how pissed off everyone seems to be. I was that dickhead strolling around with my hands in my pockets and a smile on my face. Why people put so much effort into a holiday they seem to hate I don’t know.

It should be some solace for them to realize it is all over tomorrow. Until they race out en masse for post-Christmas “deals.’

Human behavior is chuckle-worthy!

So if you don’t hear from me again it will be because I got t-boned by an 80 year old woman in a Cadillac trying to text her granddaughter while blowing through one of the eight stoplights I have to cross between here and ‘Salem’s Lot.

Christmas has always been my favorite holiday. Has been since I was a baby. Since we simplified everything it has gotten even sweeter.

Merry Christmas, my friends!
