I should take a series of photographs about a half hour apart, starting with the morning sunlight touching the top of the valley, and follow the light till it stops just across the road from us, so today Sweetheart said lets go out and walk in the sun light; the sky has been clear since Christmas Day.
Looks warm feels cold.
I have two clear nights to look at the stars, the moon and just above our side of the valley was a very bright Jupiter, such clear nights as these were they are also very cold! With the sun light and it’s heat not reaching our side of the road, the cold increases each day; I took Ziggy out an hour ago and the clouds are gathering; so the frost could ease by tomorrow.
Lola following her noise.
Again today the car park at the sea front was full, all these people of work and this beautiful weather forces up to the Cliff Top Park, once parked and out of the car we both felt the warmth of the sun, it feels just wonderful to feel the warmth of the sun on our skin.
The two streams meandering across the beach.
While we’re on the Cliff Top the light is coming from behind us, so I’m needing to watch for my shadow reaching deep in to my photographs, or I can use the situation to project myself into the composition; a sort of selfie in shadow!
My Selfie ……
Up here you often see flowers on the benches or the fence, people leaving flowers in memory of a lost loved one, the flowers sagest someone who had lived a life; but when I see soft toys left in memory; well it touches me – and others ….
The long view across the beach, a good place to sit and think – ponder, and New Year is a time to think.
The three mile beach and St Perrans Bay.
All the time we were there Lola was following her nose, there were people about, party people I suppose as they didn’t see a Westie eager for a attention, Lola is ok with other dogs but she likes attention from people! As we were walking back to the car Lola was watching a group of people who were unaware of the unflinching stare of a Westie.
Lola was so busy looking at the group she almost walked into a large Westie keen to met her, she was quite surprised at the Westie looking down at her; they exchanged sniffs and carried on towards the car. [no photographs – my camera was back in the bag!]
