Well, well, well. I got most of the kitchen painted yesterday. I worked for a solid five hours. So far on the project I’ve used 60 yards of masking tape. I broke open the second roll yesterday. Ridiculous indeed.

Mom is happy with the results so far.

This morning after coffee I decided to go for a walk. A walk around the RV park wouldn’t work. I headed north along the road. There wasn’t a sidewalk for most of the way.

I didn’t bring my hiking boots or hiking clothes when I flew out here. So yeah, that was me, the guy in street clothes and penny loafers, heading off the road into the desert. I didn’t walk too far out. Just far enough to stand beside a huge saguaro cactus to say “Hello!”

It’s 3pm and 61 degrees outside. Tomorrow is supposed to be a few degrees warmer. So I may go for a swim tomorrow.

I’ve had this book I got from the RV park library for sixteen days and I’m only on page 191. Ridiculous. I can’t concentrate well enough to read when the TV is on. I keep reading the same page over and over.
