It's Been A While in meh...

It’s been many years that under my “tree” there were plenty of gifts. The only ones for me are from co-workers. I mean, I may get $20 from my mom or $60 from my dad, but otherwise, I’ve gotten use to not receiving and more about giving. When I can’t give, it makes me feel bad. Like the song says, “give love on Christmas day” lots of folks will dot your eye if that’s all you gave. LOL

This year, I received a blessing that could be a curse if I’m not careful. My credit card company raised my credit limit substantially. I had just made a payment and was trying figure out how to spend my little money so I can have some food in the house for a nice Christmas dinner at least. Man, I looked at my available credit and got scared and confused all at once. So I sat on it. I called the automated number and the balance said the same thing. I then asked for the representative. So I spoke with the nice lady an she confirmed that I’ve been doing great on the payments and they bumped up my credit limit. WOW.

No need to worry about groceries OR Christmas gifts! I had a set amount to spend for gifts for everyone. Then I needed some extras. Then I needed food. Then I checked my credit card. I didn’t go crazy. I could have easily spent most of it but I did good. After I got my mom’s gifts, I decided to put the card away and not spend anymore. I mean it. I know how I can get because I rarely get to go crazy. I got desired and needed items for my family. Of course baby doesn’t need toys, but I think he will be so happy with his TMNT (Ninja Turtle for short). My mom called me and asked that I video him opening his gifts. I think i will do that. I’m smiling just thinking about it.

My son will receive more gifts after Christmas because I couldn’t find a lot of the things he asked for until I went online on Amazon. My next thing to do will be to mail off a little something to my friends, including my new friend, Twin. I hope I still have everyone’s address.

I’m really looking forward to this Christmas. I was thinking about extending an invitation to my family and friends to stop by, but I’m sure they won’t come over. It’s just as well. I will have my grandbaby. I may try and pop over to my dad’s. Who knows. I thought about maybe renting a car, but that would be plenty expensive. So I sit at home and chill. Besides, I have to work on Friday so I can’t play too hard until the weekend. Even then, I will have baby so. I will DEFINITELY be playing hard. lol

And with that, I bid you all adieu until next time…
Peace, Light, & Love.
Kindest regards & Merry Christmas,
Sister
