4 of 17... in These titles mean nothing.

Reaching the moment of truth.
Maybe house kleening isn’t that much fun anymore.
This morning I felt like a was teetering on the brink.
A breath of air would send me over the top or back down the slope.
Part of it is just the keeping the things you’ve already cleaned clean.
You have to put stuff away. All over. Again and again.
You have other stuff to do. Sure. But did you ever really think you were going to clean off and polish the piano? I mean, be honest. You haven’t done it since Perot ran the first time. What makes you think you’re going to do it now? No idea.
Of course the piano doesn’t look any worse than usual. Just not any better.

I did do a few things on the lists:
1. Finished washing my work sack. Haven’t reinstalled my work stuff in it yet, but that won’t amount to much.
2. Brought in more wood - in the rain. I kept getting dripped on. Jim started the fire and it’s pretty cozy now.
3. Called the doctor’s office about my tests. I was directed to a website where I could get information. So now I have a new user name and password and a site’s name to remember. Life is hard for old people and getting harder. I got vague results. Nothing bad, nothing good, all just kind of pending stuff.
4. Did first step in calling my old 401K, need to do second step tomorrow. Since I have very little idea what I want to do about it… who knows?
5. Did some fairly serious cobweb sweeping in cellar way, bathroom, and my bedroom.
6. Finished the book. It’s still good.

I did a few things not on lists:
1. Went up to Joana’s to get her empty corn pails back.
2. Found the pic of Lennon and Ali.

Last night I promised you answers to The Three Questions by Jon J. Muth. The story is based on a Leo Tolstoy short story with the same name about a czar who wants the answers to:
1. When is the right time to do things?
2. Who is the most important one?
2. What is the right thing to do?

The answers are:
1. Now.
2. The one you are with.
3. Good for the one you are with.
