After two days of cold winds today has been mild for a December day, the decorations have been up in Perranporth since last weekend, so I didn’t park in the Co-op car park; the back car park is free now until March next year.

So I parked there and had a walk through the streets to the beach, St Pirans Rd is the main through Perranporth and that is were the Christmas decorations hangs, they look fine in the day and are lit after dark; I shall take a walk with camera and tripod one night before Christmas.

To get the image I want I need to stand in the road, I choose my moment with care!

The toilets in the seafront car park are being improved, last time I went past the building were gutted, I was surprised to see a first floor being built above the ground floor, as I stood there looking an old man stopped saying ‘what are they doing, I don’t like it I’ll ask Councillor John what’s going on’ I don’t know who Councillor John is, but I’m ok to wait to see what ‘they’ are doing!

I walked onto the beach, just! The light was good today but I only had my small Canon camera, I walked as far as the bridge over the stream that crosses the beach, in a few minutes I took fifty seven images.

It’s nice to have the winter sun, there had been a snow warning last night, when I took Ziggy out before breakfast the morning air felt warmer; we like it like this ……
