Good news - and funnies in blackpropaganda

Got a phone call at 8.15 this morning - now if anyone rings that early it could be bad news kept over from the previous night - elder son on the phone - no problem, just to let you know we have found the wine.
Back story.
We sent a case of wine to each son for Christmas - one likes large amounts of quaffable stuff - the other just six bottles of good stuff. One gets it sent to the office of his school - and that is a safe destination - the fine wine was to go to the house - but to be left down the steps on the road - he had had that done before.
I got an e mail from the wine outlet they had both been delivered by FedEx on the day - and elder son got a card through his door saying it had been delivered - but no sign of the wine. Had they left it in sight of the road? Had a case of six wines gone missing thanks to some passerby?
So not a happy bunny at either end.
Then the phone call - they had looked in an old coal box under the steps - and there it was.Joy all round - mainly because it was not wasted money.
Then later an impetuous decision at 11.30 to go out to lunch with friends to a place we have been meaning to try. Excellent food and drink - and replete for the afternoon. So, good so far - and a painting finished too!!!!
Off to the first of the Christmas music concerts of the season later - hoping that SW.... does not sneeze over everyone!
