Rainy, icy, cold, snowy day in In the Kingdom of Suzu

All of the above is for today altho my area is not going to see much snow, if any. The northern elevations are predicted to get a lot of snow. It is a good day to stay inside curled up. I was planning on going out but it is too messy. Unfortunately cannot curl up, too much to do and I have been doing a lot of curling up these last couple of weeks so I really need to start doing more things around the house.

Called HR on Friday to see if my FML was approved changing from dec 22 to jan 5. The person in charge said it was, no problem and she would be sending me a letter to that effect. She also said she would be sending an email to my office, no need to call them. Well, I would like to touch base with them, but I have not received the letter yet so I do not want to call my supervisor until I have that letter. If I do not get anything by the end of the week, I will just go ahead and call my supervisor because they are under the impression that I am coming back the 22nd.

Got the shot for my knee and i do not know if it has helped. I did look on line and in the pamphlet the dr gave me and it said that most people do not get relief until after the third injection. That is a bummer because I was hoping that I would feel relief right away and could really walking. I did walk about two miles yesterday and I was feeling it last night. I am also having trouble with the brace they gave me. It rubs on the side of my knee and I do not think it should. I am going to play around with it some but then ask them about it when I go back on Friday. I really need to walk to lose weight as walking is what does it for me.
