It should be no surprise that the weather is to get colder over the next few days with snow showers forecast on the hills. A few years ago we had a major fall of snow at this time of year - and it lasted for some time - so we are all prepared - the boiler has been serviced - the oil has been topped up - there is wood in for the wood-burning stove - and the winter coats are at the ready.
I feel like a wise virgin - and yet there is always the doubt in the back of your mind you might have forgotten something.
Meanwhile we had a day in the city yesterday - the only time we have a free day for a little while. So, a second trip to an art exhibition since you never take in everything first time round - soup for lunch - a time in the shops (Waterstones bookshop for me) - and then home on an overheated train.
I have nothing on today - so I am taking the time to do some painting - a thank you card, and a congratulation card - and a special card for the lady who prints my Christmas cards since it seems a bit odd to send her one of them - so she gets her own original. So far the first two are done - the light is great with bright sunshine - and a halogen heater makes the conservatory, where I paint, really cosy.
I thought I would put up a couple of my pictures
me at school
and a Klimt drawing I love

Love your paintings! And the comics! Took me a few seconds to notice the third child from the left was painting something different from the other kids...hahaha

That painting is really nice. I'm not great with paints. I have SOME artistic talent. I want to go to one of the art bars around here, wine and paint! I like the final meme. hehe.
Do you typically get a lot of snow in winter?
