Broken Prosebox? in A small but passable life.

I spent the day at the student union yesterday. I wrote an entry but when I went to post it Prosebox wouldn’t load. Now I’m at the library downtown typing into the little box.
Forty-eight hours from now I should be on a plane heading to warmer weather. I’ve got just a few things left to do tomorrow.
I feel kind of bad leaving all that I need to leave with Jassy. The closet in her spare bedroom will be packed full. At least the van will be cleaned out and ready for her to take over.
I also hope the van will start running better once she runs this tank full of gas out. I can’t think of any reason other than bad gas as to why it is running rough. I may have to put it on the battery charger if it doesn’t want to turn over tomorrow morning.
I’ve been told that the EBT will work out of state, but I may leave it with Jassy just to help them out until Jassy applies for and receives her own card to use until she gets another job.
There was a comment I seen on the interwebs somewhere, someone saying that we aren’t in a depression because there are no soup lines like you see in those old pictures from the Great Depression. I think there would be massive lines considering the 50 million people on food stamps and the millions of free lunches the schools give out. Not to mention all the food pantries, soup kitchens and church dinners given, all of whom are seeing an overwhelming demand.
And of course I’m thinking the worst is yet to come. And very soon.
Anyway, I’m off to continue today’s walk. I need to head over to the student union to grab today’s papers, to see what craziness abounds in the world today (yesterday?).
