I love Lucy - dancing! in blackpropaganda

This is a busy week - and just managing to find a few minutes to write this entry.
Walking yesterday morning followed by ballroom dancing - and after 45 minutes of jive I was knackered. At one stage I could do fast jives but my lungs are not what they were - and the arm I broke nearly five years ago does not lemd otself to all the moves. So we both came back knackered - and spent the evening slumped in front of the tv.
By the by - good to see that Judy Murray is out of Strictly Come Dancing - it would have been embarrassing if she had survived another week when there are really good dancers who should carry on. She really did improve - but this is where the good dancers take over.
Today I am just back from a morning meeting - had an early lunch, then out to walk this afternoon - then out this evening at a meeting.
Tomorrow we are off to the city all day.
Thursday I lead a walk along the coast - please no rain - and then I can relax.
Not working is really hard.
Nice programme last night on the history of dancing - Cheek to Cheek - with the lovely ‘Juicy’ Lucy Worsley, who look like butter wouldn’t melt in her mouth, but has a dirty side, and Len Goodman, chief judge on SCD who was so overwhelmed on Saturday night with the standard of a dance and committed the worst crime on a live programme - she shouted Fuck! They both had to participate in a minuet - not easy - but opened up all kinds of issues about dance - the obvious one being that in times of social prudery the only way to have contact with the opposite sex, however fleeting, was in a dance. I would guess that the stiffness in the minuet was as much to do with an erection that would not go away!
