We’ve been having glorious sunsets lately. I see them when I get out of work at 4:30 but I never have my camera with me.

This is a phone pic Jim took yesterday from the neighbors where they are finishing up combining corn. The sun has gone down and the color is more faint than spectacular.

I was going to leave you with some more Salter but the book must be at work because it’s not in my bag.

Instead here’s a bit of the Epistle for the twelfth Sunday after Pentecost - Second Corinthians Chapter 2.

He also it is who has made us fit ministers of the new covenant, not of the letter, but of the spirit; for the letter kills, but the spirit gives life.

There’s more of course. Much more. And then the Gospel which is from Luke, the beyond famous story of the Good Samaritan.
