Had my second post op with the reconstruction dr and he is again very pleased with the way things are going. He took another tube out, just have one more to go and hopefully that will go at next week’s appointment. He did a fill, gave me a couple of exercises to do and was amazed at how far I could put my arms over my head—almost full range. I can drive, but I am only going to drive if necessary for the next week----to the next fill appointment and to the oncologist on Monday. Hoping to hear good news Monday, but either way I will deal with whatever comes my way.

God love ya, Suzu. I hate going to doctors. I'm SO happy to hear you are healing well and so quickly, too! HUGS

Thanks, forgot to add that I also saw the gyno on another matter---ugh!

I finally started choosing women doctors. They understand the changes our bodies endure better, I think.

Could be, however, the plastic surgeon is a male and I am in love with him! Seriously tho, he is very understanding and has a great bedside manner---I love him--lol!

Hey, I think the most important thing is to feel a connection. You are obviously in good hands. This is not an easy time for you and having a good doctor that you feel confident in is key to a quick recovery. My girlfriend went through reconstruction a couple of years ago and I was in awe of her strength. Praying for you to go the same route!

Thanks! Found out Monday I do not need chemo or radiation, but need to take a medication---possibly tamoxifen? need to now go see a medical oncologist for that treatment. I have stage 1A and main thing is I am not going to die, do not need radiation or chemo, so I am very thankful for that.

Hi :) I'm sorry I'm late in telling you that I'm glad you are recovering well. You sound so strong and brave. Ready for whatever may come your way. You are an inspiration.
