1/8/2025 in An Entry a Day 2025

I went back to work today but I went in late because of the ice....not looking forward to trying to get out tomorrow morning. Mars the hamster wasn’t doing so hot this morning but I think he was maybe trying to hibernate. He’s in my classroom in the travel carrier for now as it’s warmer. I’m hoping I’ll come in tomorrow and he will have sprung back to his normal self. If not.....well, I did all I could.

We got a new baby today, she’s sweet. Other infant room got a set of twins today. They were fussy while I was in there but I changed them both and managed to get both to sleep. Their heads are shaped weird from laying flat all the time and they HATE tummy time. I only spend an hour and a half in there.

I spent an hour in prek, too. That was nice. Just for nap time.

I won a little bit of money today on the local lottery instant games which was neat. Not a lot but it’s more than I had.

I’m trying to speed run winter in Coral Island because I only have 1 thing left to gather to complete my museum and you can only catch it in spring.
