Wedding in In the Kingdom of Suzu

My SS got married today. Very small, low key affair—only a dozen people including the bride and groom, but it went off very well. My daughter took the pix and is also babysitting their daughter overnight. They were going to Baltimore and will be back sometime Saturday.

Finally saw the orthopedic doctor who took standing X-rays and is going to give me a series of shots. He was hoping to start before I have the mastectomy next Friday, but I am going to wait.

The oncologist nurse from the insurance company called to see if I had any questions and give me info on support groups, etc. most of what she told me had already been covered by both doctors but repetition helps.

It has gotten cold out and we could have a bit of snow Saturday but more likely to be rain. This is the weekend I want to get the house all prepped for after surgery so a yucky weekend is okay by me so long as it isn’t so yucky that I just want to curl up with a good book!
