Wtf made that noise?! in I'm Just Snacking 2024

This morning, very early around 3:00 AM, I received a notification on my phone, which was underneath my pillow, indicating that there was motion detected on the camera at my house. I’m currently dog-sitting several miles away.
When I accessed the camera feed, I couldn’t see the image, but I was surprised to hear sound, which scared the hell out of me. It sounded like Pam screaming for help, followed by loud, distorted noises. The sound kept looping on my phone, and I honestly thought Pam had fallen down the stairs, even though it was 3:00 AM. I tried calling her, but that looping sound continued in my ear.
There’s no clear explanation for it. Pam went to check things out to make sure no cows had gotten out and ended up at our place, or if someone was trying to break in and had fallen off a ladder or something. It was definitely a weird experience.

When I finally had time and energy to look at the full video, and opened the video to edit it in Google Photos, it skipped from 29 seconds to 59 seconds. So, I downloaded another app that allowed me to view the video frame by frame. I noticed this strange blackout before the sound cuts out. I believe this is when I heard whatever it was last night.
I kept fiddling with the app but I obviously didn’t have a clue how it worked as it was my first time using it. I think I accidentally deleted the edits a half dozen times just trying to capture the weird brownish blackish blob frame by frame. I had no luck, and I was exhausted due to my insomnia so the full video will have to do for now. while I was too pissed off to work on it anymore, I watched the clips that came before and after the incident. In one of the clips I swear to gawd I hear whispering. But knowing I was without sleep for over 48 hours I didn’t trust my hearing. Could have just been my broken brain having fun with some auditory halucinations.
I have it on my PC now, and I have some decent video editing software. I’m hoping my brain will feel less fragmented from the lack of sleep so I can futz around with it.
But for now, I must go and write an email about some more weird shit that is going on.

What's really really weird to me is I KNOW the first sound before the yell from something. Sound kind of like a distorted squeaky toy deflating. I had it in so many folders as a sound effect when I edited my videos but I just never used it b/c I couldn't get it to layer reasonably into the surrounding audio.
I think I've heard it recently in some tiktoks (but Im not on tiktok, just from vids sent to me) and they usually use it for someone getting the wind knocked out of them or someone falling (if I remember correctly).
If your setup is wireless, I'd wonder if someone is messing with you and taking over the signal and messing with it.
I know that sounds crazy but I was able to watch people's unsecured webcams in their houses back in like 2008 so it's probably not gotten any better with wifi cams outside.
So both could be sound effects, one to throw you off b/c it's so weird and distorted, and the next is just generic "female yelling fall" or something but you're so caught off by the first that it feels natural.
The other video...not sure. Probably could still be someone messing with it.
If the alarm is audible to the person breaking in too and picked up then I dunno. but if it's not an audible alarm but was blaring in the vid...I'd think someone's messing with you.
Sorry about the cynical side take...I did a lot of video editing so my mind immediately goes to someone fucking with you lol

Dude, that is completely plausible, although I don't think anyone that wants to deliberately fuck with me is smart enough to do that if it was to freak me out. Now if it was a friend, yes, they are smart enough lol
Is that mean of me to say about people that don't like me? I may be underestimating a lot of them, but from what I've experienced thus far in my 50+ years on this hell planet, they're not very bright.
